Financial Manager

POSITION INFO:

Our client, an automotive component manufacturer based in Port Elizabeth, is currently looking to employ a young and dynamic and analytical Financial Manager to their team. International experience, in a similar role, would be highly advantageous.

Non-negotiable Requirements:

• BCom Accounting as a minimum, preferably with articles.
• 5 years hands on working experience in a global manufacturing company.
• Experience working on Pastel, MS Excel.
• Can do attitude with a high work ethic.
• Dynamic, reliable, good attention to detail.
• Must hold a valid drivers license and own vehicle.

Responsibilities:Â

• Pastel entries.
• Year-end oversight and compilation of AFS.
• Monthly VAT returns and year end Corporation Tax Filings.
• Daily cash management.
• Monthly reporting and management accounts preparation.
• Oversight of the whole finance function.
• Internal controls and process improvements.
• Foreign exchange (both receipts and payments).
• Liaising with local stakeholders (bank, insurance, etc).
