Financial Manager

SUMMARY:
A well-known retail brand with headquarters in China is seeking a Chartered Accountant to fulfill the role of Financial Manager. You will form part of a large and vibrant finance team and play a key role in exciting new projects and ventures that the brand will be launching. Hybrid work set up. POSITION INFO:

Prepare and submit various tax returns (VAT, Payroll Tax, Income Tax, withhold tax on dividend, etc) including collating documentation for purpose of SARS verifications and audits

Prepare for, and manage the annual statutory financial audits

Manage and attend the monthly stock counts in the Cape Town warehouses

Assist the month-end close process by giving key input to certain balances and other values

Submit monthly information to Statistics South Africa

Manage the company’s insurance cover

Assist the Chief Risk Officer with attending to or managing certain risks of the company and conducting internal control reviews with the purpose of developing improved control

Qualification:

CA(SA) non-negotiable
