SUMMARY:
A well-known retail brand with headquarters situated in China is seeking a qualified CA to fulfill the role of Financial Manager. Your role will focus mainly on the tax and compliance of the business and you will also have the opportunity to play a key role in exciting projects that the company plans on launching in the very near future. POSITION INFO:

Prepare and submit various tax returns (VAT, payroll tax, income tax, withholding tax on dividend, etc) including collating documentation for purpose of SARS verifications and audits

Prepare for, and manage the annual statutory financial audits

Manage and attend the monthly stock counts in the Cape Town warehouses

Assist the month-end close process by giving key input to certain balances and other values

Submit monthly information to Statistics South Africa

Manage the company’s insurance cover

Assist the Chief Risk Officer with attending to or managing certain risks of the company and conducting internal control reviews with the purpose of developing improved controls

Qualification:

CA(SA) non-negotiable
