SUMMARY:
Financial Manager

POSITION INFO:

Reporting line Manager: CFO

Mission of the Function:

Overall planning and co-ordination of the Finance department

Qualifications:

Mimimum: CA – Financial, Accounting, Taxation

Desired:

Post graduate Degree – Financial or Accounting
Professional Experience:

Minimum: 3-5 years Commercial Experience preferably with a manufacturing background.

Required non-negotiable:

Knowledge of SAP R/3 and VIP Payroll Skills in Financial Systems Design

Responsibilities:

Analysis of cost & profitability, Full financial function (Financial accounting,
Budget control incudingl Cost centres), Oversee preparation of financial reports, Preparation of financial reports for the (organization''''s financial position, Regulatory authorities & Management),
Implement cash flow Management strategies, Monitor and control thereof, Asset management, Statutory compliance(Tax, Vat, etc),
Management of accounts, Oversee & control debtors & creditor functions, Month-End closure,
Preparing Commission sales,
financial management mechanisms that minimise financial risk, Audit, External relations (Banks, Auditors, etc). conduct reviews & evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities,
Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations & legislation
