JOB DESCRIPTION:

My client in the Short Term Insurance Industry is looking for a Financial Manager.

You will direct, manage, plan and co-ordinate organisation-wide financial management activities and policies to accomplish the goals and vision of the company and associated companies.

Minimum requirements:

B Com (completed)
Advanced MS Excel
3-5 years proven management experience
At least 3-5 years experience in accounting within the insurance industry.
Fundamental understanding of finance principles, legal and accounting best practice and operating procedures
Sound understanding of business purpose and operating context
Thorough understanding of companies values and strategy
Knowledge of corporate governance principles and audit requirements
Knowledge of corporate governance principles and audit requirements
Knowledge of the relevant legislation, tax law and other financial statutory obligations.
