A reputable financier whose aim to is to help entrepreneurs succeed by providing them with business loans and support is looking for a Financial Manager to join their team.

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The Financial Manager will be responsible for preparing management accounts updating of daily cash flow, and the financial statements. The Financial Manager will be responsible for VAT reconciliations, reporting on financial information, budgeting and cash flow management and the monthly consolidated management accounts. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and managing the annual audits.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

CA(SA)

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

At least 3-5 years’ post article experience in a similar role
Experience in the investment/financial services/private equity industries is preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and deadline driven
Strong analytical skills
Solid problem solving and root cause analysis
Strong understanding of financial processes and reconciliations
Working knowledge dealing with African operations
