Finance Manager

Qualification

CA SA
BCom Management Accounting Degree
SAIBA / CIMA registered

Requirements

Strong Commercial Background with at least 5 years’ experience working in a project environment
Experience in cost analysis (Project / Overhead / Operational)
Must have management experience in Forex, Forward Cover, Excess Funds, Cross Border Accruals and Overseas Tax
Pastel Accounting essential
Implementation of Sage – The intention is to move the company onto the SAGE200 package in the next year

Duties

Adjustment/fine tuning of existing Finance Policies & Procedures
Improvements – Financial processes (DOA, PR process, Invoicing)
Project cost reconciliations for input into the Cashflow analysis
Manage financial month end closure & reconciliations (Payroll, checks and balances, Loans)
Internal audit & risk management (risk register)
Statutory returns & payments (VAT / PAYE / IT / EMP501)
Manage Assets
Manage Creditor and Debtor processes
Manage HR & Payroll processes
