JOB SUMMARY:
Our client with an international footprint within manufacturing is looking for a hands-on Financial Controller. They are world leaders in their field to offer the best solutions for their customers to build their brands and add value to the communities they operate within.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

You will be a hands-on financial controller, willing to roll up your sleeves and problem solve. Your passion for your team will motivate you to collectively show results. You are capable of leading your team as you will lead the finance division of the JHB plant. You will have the ability to report to all the relevant stakeholders, maintain compliance and develop your staff. Some of the duties include:

Monthly Financial Reporting pack to management

Provide in-depth financial analysis on exco level

Development and implementation of strategic financial strategy

Ensure timely finalisation of monthly results in line with corporate guidelines

Coordinate and finalise all audit and tax engagements within defined timelines

Management of finance team covering AR, AP and job costing

Manage working capital requirements and cashflow forecasts

Prepare annual/quarterly budgets and forecasts

Prepare annual labour/machine rates

Manage Capex projects and calculate return on investments

Review and maintain compliance with Internal Controls and identify areas for improvement

Responsible for job costing function

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience within manufacturing

Management experience

Strong IFRS abilities

SAP experience

Qualification:

CA(SA) / CIMA
