JOB SUMMARY:
Our Client, a Leader in the Gas & Chemicals Industry is in search for a Financial Manager to join their dynamic team. The successful incumbent will be responsible for the below duties and responsibilities.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualifications:

• BCom Degree / BCom with articles

• CA (SA) qualification with current SAICA membership.

Job description:

Manage the finance staff and ensure deadlines are met
Ensure bank reconciliations are done daily and balance to bank statement
Month end management account
Review trial balance and ensure that all accounts are reconciled, and reconciling items actioned within 5 days after month-end
Ensure month-end stock is closed on the first day of the new month
Responsible for yearly audits
Annual BEE certificate verification
Submission of Employment Equity return
Ensure that all payments are made on time
Manage debtors and ensure that action it taken on all overdue on 60 days and over
