JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for a reliable Financial Manager that will analyse and review every day financial activities and subsequently provide accurate and reliable information to allow senior management to make informed and effective financial and business decisions.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

verseeing the Accounting, Debtors, creditors, bank, HR & payroll functions within department
Accounting and costing:

Monthly review and ensure accurate allocation of entries in General ledger to cost centers and approval of general ledger JNL’s
Review of General ledger & cashbook reconciliations to Trial Balance, resolving any discrepancies and management of entries in control accounts
Preparation/review and calculation of monthly provisions, accruals, fixed asset entries

Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures

Review and approval of VAT recons as well as submissions and Payment timeously
Monitoring and control of bank accounts and beneficiaries/payments transfers including foreign accounts
Effective Control and management of cashflow and forecasting thereof

Establish and maintain accounting procedures
