Our client is looking for a qualified CA(SA) to join their team which has

Sage 300 (Formerly known as ACCpac) accounting experience and to peform the financial accounting function .

Qualifications:

• Qualified CA(SA)

Experience Required:

• Minimum 3-years’ experience in an accounting position
• IFRS knowledge
• Experience at preparing monthly reporting packages on Excel
• Sage 300 - ACCPAC experience
• Knowledge of accounting controls and procedures
• Knowledge of relevant taxes
• Knowledge/use of EFT systems

• Be able to work independently as well as be a team player

• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities :

• Assistance in monthly reporting
• Strengthening processes and automation of processes
• Reviewing of monthly packs in the group
• Consolidation done monthly
• Reviewing of Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• BEE (Completion of procurement detail for all BEE companies)
• Audit requests – Internal & External (Assist auditors)
• Reviewing of journals for all companies
• Authorising and releasing of bank payments
• Vat, Paye on E-filing
• Tax returns and SARS queries
• Compliance with statutory regulations
• Ad hoc projects
