JOB SUMMARY:
Our client a world-class battery manufacturing concern, needs a dynamic FM to plan, implement and effectively manage financial analysis and reporting functions at a Divisional Level, thereby ensuring the highest standards of quality and service delivery are maintained.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Finacial Management

Operations and business plans aligned with strategic objectives.
Financial reporting prepared in a timely and accurate manner, distributed to relevant stakeholders.
Monthly forecasts presented.
Continuous improvement initiatives presented and followed through for action.
Cost, pricing and variable contributions, results, trends and projections analysed and outcomes presented / reported in a timely manner.
Budget prepared and implemented.
Cost saving initiatives presented and implemented.

Compliance

Compliance with applicable controls and procedures.
Risks identified and monitored – risk register in place.
Risks reported to Manager.
Availability of documentation and records.

Cost and expenditure monitoring

Budget input provided and implementation successful.
Cost saving initiatives presented and implemented.
Waste prevented and expenditure minimized.

Customer Service and Staff Management

QUALIFICATIONS

MINIMUM

ADVANTAGEOUS

B Com degree or equivalent qualification in Finance / Accounting (NQF 6).

CA (SA) / CIMA

EXPERIENCE

MINIMUM

ADVANTAGEOUS

5 years’ experience in Financial Management in the Manufacturing environment of which:

Up to 3 years should be at Supervisory level.

Computer Literacy (MS Office Suite; SAP and job-specific software systems).
Knowledge of relevant Business Processes.
