JOB SUMMARY:
Leading Group operating in the technology, property, healthcare and hospitality space is seeking an experienced Management Accountant / Financial Manager.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The role will oversee the full financial function, reporting function, balance sheet control and the debtor and creditor clerks.

Full balance sheet control

Reconciling all balance sheet accounts
Fixed Asset Processing and Depreciation
VAT Return preparation and reconciliation to GL
Stock adjustment review, stock counts and control review
Intercompany loan balancing and interest charging
Accrual and Prepayments

Preparation for and assistance with Annual Audit
Risk and Compliance

Banking

KYC review and quarterly performance updates.

Insurance

Ensure compliance with requirements of insurance policy to ensure cover

Controls

Continuous review of controls for efficiency and effectiveness

Control of Vehicle Fleet

Purchase/Sale of Vehicles
Insurance
Licensing
Fuel Cards and e-Tag

International Logistics

Clearing Instructions issued
Tracking and Monitoring

Monthly Reporting

Monthly Sales
Management Accounts
Business Intelligence Optimisation

Intercompany Transactions

Preparation and issuing of invoices
Review of calculation and cost allocations

Team assistance

Sales

Review and approval of control deviations (i.e. invoices issued below certain margins)
Credit limit control and approval
Daily sales reporting
Customer ageing and commentary

Creditors

Payment review and approval
Foreign payment review and forward cover planning
Accrual controls and reporting

Debtors

CGIC review and changes through CGIC online platform.

Handling of monthly donations to charities.

Requirements:

BCom / CIMA and 5-7 years’ commercial experience
Strong systems knowledge
