JOB DESCRIPTION:

We have a Financial Manager position available at one of our clients in the Elandsfontein (Bapsfontein) area that will be responsible for overseeing the Company’s financial management and controls.

(Areas close to Bapsfontein: Irene, the Hills, Mooikloof, Elasduspark, Rietvleidam, kempton park)

Requirements:

A minimum of 10 years’ financial management experience;
Excellent financial management and written communication skills;
Proven track record of fulfilling the role of a Financial Manager;
A minimum B Comm (Accounting) degree.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the company’s financial management and internal controls
Provide financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plands and business drivers
Ensure that the company’s financial sytems are robust, compliant and support the acurrent activities and future growth
Develop and control the company’s annual operating budget to ensure that all financial targets are met
Prepare the monthly management accounts
Present the management accounts and annual financial stements to the board of directors
Direct and control the financial management team
Oversee the preparation of the company’s annual financial statements
Develop and maintain all necessary systems, policies and procedures to ensure an effective and efficient financial management system
Develop financial and tax strategies
Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team
Oversee the company’s transaction processing systems
Oversee the external audit with the company’s auditors
