JOB SUMMARY:
A well-established JSE-listed private Educational conglomerate seeks an experienced and analytical Financial Manager to join their dynamic team based in Johannesburg North.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties Include, But Not Limited to:

Preparation of financial implementation plans and budgets for the brand
Review departmental performance and compare actuals against budgets
Ensure accuracy of financial records
Review general ledger control account reconciliations bi-monthly
Coordinate month-end closure of financial processes
Financial integrity and control to minimise financial risk and fraud
Manage payment process, creditors, service delivery and query handling
Debtors collection
Implement risk management systems and policies to reduce exposure to financial losses
Management performance of the finance department

Education:

BCom in Finance or Accounting
BCom Honors in Accounting is advantageous

Job Experience & Skills Required:

4 to 5 years' experience in a financial management role is essential
Educational industry experience
Strong people management and leadership skills
Strong Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience essential
Advanced MS Excel skills (non-negotiable)
Pastel Partner experience highly beneficial
Excalibur experience beneficial
Attention to detail
Ability to successfully manage several different tasks simultaneously
Financial acumen
Ability to work in a highly pressured and fast paced environment
Team player
