JOB SUMMARY:
Financial Manager – JHB-EAST
R 70k-R 80k Contract Position

We are hiring!!! A leader in the aviation space is looking to hire a seasoned Financial Manager, and my client is looking for a result oriented professional with effective leadership skills to join their high performing team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The successful incumbent will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:

Closing monthly financial periods ensuring accounting records are complete, valid, and accurate.
Preparing and review of monthly and quarterly financial reports encompassing financial results as well as commentary on the results.
Preparing and reviewing monthly financial reports including cost centre variance analysis versus budgets for review by relevant cost centres
Ensuring that the required financial processes are in place and well maintained, including IT systems (where applicable)
Managing internal treasury including bank mandates, cash management, foreign payments, guarantees and any other required deliverables
Reviewing and authorising monthly payments for supplier invoices
Co-ordinating and managing the financial function and management of all staff in the finance team
Planning, executing, and managing the year end audit and internal audit for the company
Ensuring strict compliance with all international and local government/ statutory requirements

Delivering high quality financial data on time and in the required formats
Providing technical expertise
Measuring and reporting financial performances

The ideal candidate has:

University degree
Relevant post degree qualification preferred
5 years Financial Manager Experience
