This role offers exposure to project
finance, IFRS reporting (including IFRIC 12), tax and statutory compliance, and high-level stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and compliance with all regulatory and contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
- Prepare management accounts, variance analyses, budgets, forecasts, and medium-term plans
- Oversee IFRS reporting, including IFRIC 12 models
- Manage statutory compliance (VAT, tax returns, regulatory and audit requirements)
- Prepare annual financial statements and act as key liaison with external auditors
- Maintain strong internal controls, financial policies, and procedures
- Oversee cash flow forecasting and balance sheet reconciliations
- Support finance-related procurement and contractual processes
- Engage with key internal and external stakeholders, including financiers and service providers
Education
- CA(SA) qualification (non-negotiable)
- Articles completed at a Big Four audit firm (essential)
Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ post-articles experience
- Strong technical IFRS knowledge (IFRIC 12 highly advantageous)
- Experience within project finance, infrastructure, energy, or regulated environments preferred
Skills
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics / Great Plains / SAP or similar)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- High attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a heavy workload
