Duties: Lead, mentor and develop a team of Financial Accountants. Oversee the day-to-day financial accounting operations. Review and approve financial transactions while resolving complex accounting matters. Prepare and review annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS. Manage month-end and year-end reporting processes. Produce management accounts, executive reports and financial presentations. Prepare cash flow forecasts and provide strategic financial insights. Drive budgeting, forecasting and cost management initiatives. Manage corporate income tax, VAT and royalty tax compliance. Coordinate external audits and ensure statutory compliance. Strengthen internal controls and identify opportunities to improve financial systems and processes. Oversee stock reporting, fixed asset management and payroll reviews. Partner with key stakeholders across the business to support informed decision-making. Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualifications: Matric (Grade 12) BCom in Accounting BCom Honours Accounting CTA Chartered Accountant CA(SA) qualification (essential) Experience: SAICA Articles completed Minimum 3 years' post-articles experience. Mining industry experience will be highly advantageous. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, tax, cash flow management and financial controls. Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) and Draftworx will be advantageous.
