Financial Manager CA(SA)

SUMMARY:
Seeking a technically and operationally inclined Chartered Accountant CA(SA) with experience working in the Mining sector (EE/AA)

POSITION INFO:

Job & Company Description:

Our client operates in the mining sector and they are recruiting for a Financial Manager to join their driven team. The successful incumbent must have sound mining sector knowledge and working experience, specifically pertaining to mining tax. This role will require you to travel at least once a month.

Duties:

• Full Finance Function - Reporting
• Budgets & Forecasts
• Cash Flow Management
• Financial Planning & Analysis
• Annual Financial Statements
• Management Accounts
• Tax & VAT
• Technical Accounting
• IFRS Compliance
• System Implementation & Improvement
• Risk & Controls

Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualified CA(SA) registered with SAICA
• Min 4-6 years’ post article experience within the mining sector
• Experience working in a listed environment highly advantageous
• Must have experience managing staff and presenting to exco

Computer & Software Skills:

• Advanced MS Excel knowledge
• Hyperion, SAP, GAAP experience advantageous
