POSITION INFO:

Job & Company Description:

Our client is recruiting for a Financial Manager to take responsibility for the Full Finance Function which includes Debtors & Creditors management. The successful incumbent must be a registered Chartered Accountant CA(SA) with 3-5 years’ post article experience within the commercial sector, of which at least 1.5-2 years must be in a managerial role. Multinational or Africa exposure would be an added advantage, as this is a growing company.

Duties:

Management of Financial & Management Reporting packs
Tax Calculations, VAT & SARS liaison
Adherence to Reporting Standards
Budgets & Forecasts
Profit vs Loss Statements
Cashflow Management
Debtors & Creditors Management
Intercompany Transactions
Project Reporting & Management
Fixed Asset Management
Improve Efficiencies & Controls
Staff Training & KPI Management

Qualifications & Experience:

SAICA registered Chartered Accountant CA(SA)
Min 3-5 years’ post article experience within the commercial sector outside of audit/consulting
Must ideally have 1.5-2 years’ management experience
Must come from a medium to large or multinational entity
Must have experience implementing systems, improving processes, automating reporting functions or similar
Must have a stable work history – no job hopping
Must have a strong eye for detail and be able to meet strict deadlines
Must have advanced Microsoft Excel skills (experience with VLookup, Pivot Tables, Macros, Financial Models and more)
Pastel experience advantageous
Consolidations experience would be a nice to have
