SUMMARY:
Six (6) Month Fixed Term Contract - Financial Manager vacancy available within a JSE-Listed conglomerate for a Chartered Accountant CA(SA) with Commercial and Operational Management experience (EE/AA)

Job & Company Description:

Our client is a multi-industry company listed on the JSE Stock Exchange. They are a renowned competitor in their field and they are looking for a driven and passionate Chartered Accountant CAS(SA) to join their team for a six (6) month fixed term contract with a potential of becoming permanent. This role will be responsible for the Full Finance Function as well as Commercial Reporting.

Please note the minimum requirements required to be considered for this role:

Qualification & Experience:

SAICA registered Chartered Accountant CA(SA) with 6-8 years’ post articles experience within the commercial sector – preferably within the FMCG, Services, Freight & Logistics, Supply Chain or similar industry sector
Must have current experience within a managerial role that is responsible for both Financial and Commercial reporting
Experience working in a large company is highly preferred

Financial Reporting
IFRS Compliance
Tax & VAT
Financial Controls
Financial Analysis (Cost, Market & Trend, Performance etc)
Financial Planning & Budget Control
Forecasting & Risk Management
Cost Saving Initiatives & Performance Management
Cost Estimates & Margin Analysis
Financial Modelling
Sales & Marketing involvement
Liaising with clients and external stakeholders

Skills:

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills – must be able to build financial models
SAP, Oracle, Hyperion (HFM) or similar experience highly advantageous
Strong interpersonal skills
