Financial Manager CA(SA)

SUMMARY:
Our client, a well-established company in the retail space is looking for an experienced Financial Manager to join their vibrant team based in the Johannesburg area. The successful candidate should have 2 years post article experience.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be a registered CA(SA).
• Relevant degree in Accounting.
• 2 years post article experience.
• Essential: Experience in MS Office, Syspro and Qlikview.

Main responsibilities:

• Management of the Financial Team.
• Responsible for reporting and analyses on a monthly basis.
• Internal audits and projects.
• Ad-hoc report development to analyse financial data.
• Inventory, sales, costing and operational anylyses.
• Annual Budget Compilation assistance.
• Group result consideration responsibilities.
• Financial Statement compilation assistance.
• Finance function accountability, which includes creditors, debtors, accounting, cash management and credit control.
• Accounting transactions process and accounts.
• Responsible for the control process improvement.
• Accountability for the internal audit processes.
• Creditor payment reviews and release.
• Tax return preparation, management and assistance.
• Project management such as new POS system roll out.
• External audit co-ordination.
• Identification of any control deficiencies.
• Recommendation of improvements.

Additional Information:

• The successful candidate will be reporting to the Financial Director.
• The full Debtors and Finance function will be reporting directly to the Financial Manager.
