Job Description:
As a Financial Manager CA(SA), you will play a vital role in overseeing the financial operations of our organization. Your primary responsibilities will include budgeting, financial planning, team management, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. You will work closely with other departments to analyze financial data, develop strategic plans, and provide valuable insights to support business decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the financial activities of the organization.
- Develop and implement effective budgeting and financial planning strategies.
- Monitor financial performance and analyze variances to ensure optimal financial management.
- Prepare accurate financial reports, statements, and projections for management and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial guidance and support in achieving organizational goals.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Manage a team of financial professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance evaluations.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and changes in financial regulations.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (SA) (CA(SA)) designation is essential.
- Minimum of 2 plus years of post-articles experience in a financial management role.
- Strong budgeting and financial planning experience.
- Previous experience in a corporate environment is highly desirable.
- Proven team management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Sound knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
- Effective communication skills in Afrikaans and English, both written and verbal.
