SUMMARY:
A high-performance manufacturing company is currently seeking a competent Financial Manager to oversee the finance department. A dynamic individual who has strong management reporting and costing experience will best suite this position.

POSITION INFO:

Manage finance team

Ensure that audit files are prepared on time and accurately

Ensure that all related tax and statutory affairs of the different companies are in order

Interact with external auditors during audit

Prepare financial reports including financial statements and strategic plans

Analyse variances from forecasts and the interpretations thereof

Prepare operational management reports daily/weekly/monthly

Ensures compliance with applicable accounting and corporate policies

Prepare budgets and financial forecasts up to consolidation level

Ensure transactional recording, process journal entries and compile general ledger

Keep up to date with IFRS standards and all accounting practices and procedures

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in the Manufacturing industry

Leadership skills

Strong ability to solve problems

Cautious and diligent approach to daily tasks

Qualification:

CA(SA) / AGA(SA) / CIMA or similar
