SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a Financial Manager to join the finance operations team.

POSITION INFO:
As the Finance Manager - Finance Operations you will be responsible for leading the debtors & creditors team in executing efficiencies within the Finance Division. To ensure the chosen strategy is implemented within the departments under mandate and provide input into the overall strategy of the division.

The ideal candidate will have:

Strong operational finance experience (especially in Debtors operations)
CA (SA) – first-time pass
Strong management experience
Proven track record on automating systems (SQL experience advantageous)
Ability to multi-task, cope under pressure and succeed in a high-performance culture
Accpac experience advantageous
Worked with multiple various systems that interlink
Report writing
Ability to manage auditors through the revenue and expense cycles with implementing and maintaining proper audit controls
The candidate will also be the escalation point for long outstanding debtors – and will need to be able to set up meetings with clients and discuss long outstanding debtors/improvement on processes / possible automation of processes, etc.
Understanding of provisioning. The candidate will need to run with the month-end provisions and be able to meet with operations on signing off the monthly revenue numbers
