Company & Job description

A leading Insurer that forms part of a JSE listed group is currently recruiting for a Financial Manager. This opportunity will allow the successful individual to get involved with the full finance function.
As the Financial Manager you will be responsible for the success of the Financial Department and great communication, leading abilities and Strong IFRS knowledge will be required

This opportunity is based in Durban.
Previous insurance industry experience during articles or post articles will be required.

Duties will Include but are not limited to

Preparation of Annual Financial Statements
Vat & Tax submissions
Implementing & Improving internal controls
IFRS implementations
Minimizing Risk

Experience & Skills

CA(SA)

NQ-Three years post article experience

Insurance industry exposure is a prerequisite
