R50 000 – R60 000 per month
 
Kontak Recruitment is recruiting for a Financial Manager vacancy based in Westville, Durban. The Financial Manager is responsible for all aspects of financial management, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
 
Educational Requirements:
B Com Accounting or Degree in business, economics, finance or related field
Qualified accountant with relevant experience
Experience in group consolidations
Caseware experience
Preferable completed articles
Proven experience in a similar role
 
Duties and responsibilities:
Compliance
Submission of returns
Finalisation of managements accounts
Annual financial statements
Oversee finance team
Budget preparation and reporting
Annual budgets
Knowledge of internal auditing
Reporting
Monthly management reports
Quarterly cash flow forecasts
Expenditure against forecast
Tax planning including VAT
Compliance with all statutory requirements of financial control, financial management and accounting
Produce all balance sheet reconciliations
Bank recons, debtors, creditors and inter-company accounts
