POSITION INFO:
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
Supervise and manage the financial reporting function
Ensure adherence to IFRS/GAAP and other relevant financial standards
Develop and enforce robust internal financial policies and controls
Create, assess, and refine budgets, forecasts, and financial models
Provide senior management with valuable financial insights and strategic advice
Track and regulate production costs, identifying areas for cost reduction and efficiency gains
Evaluate cost structures and implement measures to enhance profitability
Maintain precise cost accounting records and ensure accurate inventory valuation
Streamline working capital management, including overseeing payables and receivables
Ensure full compliance with tax laws, VAT regulations, and company financial guidelines
Guide, support, and develop the production finance team
Work closely with production, procurement, and operations teams to maximize financial effectiveness
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
Production or manufacturing industry experience beneficial
Must be fluent in both English and Afrikaans
Advanced excel skills
Experience using ERP systems
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
Professional qualification (e.g., CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA) is preferred
