A well-established and growing JSE listed conglomerate seeks a driven and innovative Financial Manager to join their team based in Sandton.

POSITION INFO:

Job & Company Description:

A well-established and growing JSE listed conglomerate seeks a driven and innovative Financial Manager to join their team based in Sandton.

Duties include, but not limited to:

Prepare annual financial plan

Provide support to stakeholders on budget compilation, including CAPEX

Prepare forecasts and projections

Provide financial support, advice and solutions

Responsible for feasibility studies and motivations for new acquisitions

Review and advise on profitability

Review and propose school fees in line with brand strategy

Compile annual budget/s, monitor and track performance against budget

Manage variances

Liaise with Group Shared Services regarding revenue collection and outstanding payments

Manage Capex across the Brand

Financial reporting

Ensure that adequate policies and procedures are in place

Identify financial risks, recommend and implement action

Staff management

Education:

BCom Hons in finance or accounting

CA(SA) will be beneficial

Job Experience & Skills Required:

5 to 8 years'' experience in a financial management role

3 to 4 years'' experience managing a large team is non-negotiable

Proficient in Sage Evolution non-negotiable

Advanced MS Excel skills non-negotiable

Attention to detail

Ability to successfully manage several different tasks simultaneously

Financial acumen

Ability to work in a highly pressured and fast paced environment

Team player
