Strategic Financial Manager role available within a multinational conglomerate listed on the JSE (EE/AA) - Chartered Accountants CA(SA) need apply

POSITION INFO:

Job & Company Description:

We are currently recruiting for the role of Strategic Financial Manager for a listed concern within the Manufacturing sector. The successful incumbent for this role will be responsible for all matters pertaining to Financial Control, Corporate Governance and Compliance. This individual will also be responsible for the Streamlining and Automation of systems and processes thus a keen interest and sound knowledge of IT is highly advantageous.

This role will oversee functions such as:

Business Planning & Strategy
System Implementation and Automation of Processes
Stakeholder Engagement
Budget Analysis & Reporting on Expenditure
Financial Control
Corporate Governance
Compliance to IFRS, Listing Requirements, Companies Act etc
Tax & VAT (Local & Foreign)
External Audit
Forex Conversions
Company Insurance
Technical Accounting Queries & Training
Costing
Inventory

Qualifications & Experience:

Qualified CA(SA) registered with SAICA
6-10 years’ post article experience, with at least 3 years’ staff management experience
Must come from the Manufacturing, FMCG, Mining, Petrochemical or similar production environment
MBA, MCom Taxation or similar highly advantageous
Must come from a listed environment and exposure to African Country operations is highly beneficial
Strong knowledge of and experience pertaining to JSE-Listing requirements, IFRS Compliance, Companies Act, Governance, Financial Control, SARB Reporting and more
