POSITION INFO:

An international mining company is looking for a tenacious, self-starter Financial Manager to join their team in Ivory Coast. This is a task oriented environment so the ideal candidate is someone who is willing to get their hands dirty and take initiative to deliver results. The role will be based on a 10 weeks on and 3 weeks off rotation. The successful candidate will move between Abidjan and the mine site. The role will include duties such as:

Financial Reporting
Dealing with ocal auditors and foreign auditors
Cash management
Local taxes (with help from local accountant/tax advisor)
Liaising with local banks (foreign payments)
Imports (working with clearing agent)
Management of office staff
Mine Site management – Payroll, Stores, Customer Invoice

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications & Experience

BCom or CA(SA) or CIMA
5 years’ experience in mining
