Financial Manager (expat role based in Ivory Coast)

POSITION INFO:

An international mining company is looking for a tenacious, self-starter Financial Manager to join their team in Ivory Coast.  This is a task oriented environment so the ideal candidate is someone who is willing to get their hands dirty and take initiative to deliver results.  The role will be based on a 10 weeks on and 3 weeks off rotation.  The successful candidate will move between Abidjan and the mine site.  The role will include duties such as:

• Financial Reporting
• Dealing with ocal auditors and foreign auditors
• Cash management
• Local taxes (with help from local accountant/tax advisor)
• Liaising with local banks (foreign payments)
• Imports (working with clearing agent)
• Management of office staff
• Mine Site management – Payroll, Stores, Customer Invoice

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications & Experience

• BCom or CA(SA) or CIMA
• 5 years’ experience in mining
