They are looking for a qualified and experienced Financial Manager/Business Analyst for their Industries Division.
Position Overview:
As a Financial Manager/Business Analyst within the Industries Division, you will play a crucial role in analyzing data, identifying trends, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making. This position requires close collaboration with various departments to optimize processes, enhance productivity, and drive growth.
Qualifications and Experience:
- CIMA qualification.
- Honors degree.
- 3 years of relevant experience will be highly regarded.
Key Skills:
- Exceptional prioritization skills for managing critical tasks.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
- Effective communication skills in both Afrikaans and English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Problem-solving mindset and critical thinking ability.
Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to various aspects of the business, including production, sales, inventory, and financial performance of different entities.
- Performance Metrics: Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of various operations.
- Forecasting: Utilize historical data and market insights to create accurate predictions and assist with resource allocation and inventory management.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements, cost-saving initiatives, and automation opportunities.
- Budgeting and Financial Analysis: Assist in budget preparation, variance analysis, and financial modeling to ensure financial targets are achieved.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports and dashboards for management, providing insights and actionable recommendations.
- Risk Assessment: Identify and evaluate potential risks and opportunities, and offer strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
- New Business Analysis: Analyze financial information for new business propositions and investments, including cash flow needs, profitability, and risk exposure (part of the Investment Committee).
