  JOB DESCRIPTION:
  

  The Role:

  We are looking for a Financial Operations Controller for this Automotive company.  Based in Jhb South.

  This is a permanent opportunity to start as soon as possible.

   

  Role:

  • Responsible for the management of finance activities throughout the branch network.
  • Maintains, updates, and ensures adherence to company standard operating procedures.
  • Provides training to the branches on the standard operating procedures.
    Coordinate, monitor, and manage the various branches to standardise and improve processes, policies, and practices to achieve the companyâ??s and legislative guidelines, rules, and objectives.
  • Ensure free flowing communication amongst branch employees and the regional management team.
  • Initiate activities to enhance operational efficiency at the branches.
  • Provide transactional financial support to all the branches.
  • Reviews each branch's daily cash up, sign off coinage and manage petty cash reconciliations;
  • Manages the procurement function for each of the branches;
  • Manage the issuing of uniforms with all the branches, through HR.
  • Manage the approval and processing of credit notes at the branches.
  • Management of the scanning solution.
  • Facilitating fixed asset changes between the branches and finance.
  • Perform regular branch visits to ensure that they are fully operational.
  • Managing the following reporting structure:
    o Cashiers
    o Receptionists
    o Branch administrators
