Our client—a leader in South Africa’s digital connectivity space—is looking for an exceptional Financial Operations Manager to drive operational excellence and strategic financial direction.

This is not your average back-office finance job. It’s a highly visible, engaging role that blends strategic thinking with operational execution. You’ll work at the intersection of finance, operations, and business strategy, ensuring financial accuracy, driving efficiency, and influencing key decisions in a fast-moving environment.

ð§© Key Responsibilities:
Operational Finance Duties:

Oversee daily financial operations and ensure alignment with business goals.
Drive budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking for operational teams.
Implement process improvements to streamline financial workflows.
Partner with operations to interpret data and inform strategic initiatives.
Lead monthly management reporting and variance analysis.

Technical & Strategic Duties:

Ensure compliance with IFRS and regulatory standards.
Manage internal controls and financial governance.
Provide commercial insights to support business development and growth initiatives.
Deliver financial models, risk assessments, and scenario planning to support strategic decisions.
Lead and develop a high-performing finance team.

â What We’re Looking For:

CA(SA) qualification (non-negotiable)
5–8 years’ post-articles experience in commercial finance
Minimum 5 years in a management role, preferably in an operational or project-based environment
Strong technical knowledge in financial reporting, compliance, and controls
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on, and collaborative setting
Excellent communication and business partnering skills
