SUMMARY:
Leading wealth and investment company seeks a detail orientated financial operations specialist to manage payments, reconciliations, tax submissions, AML checks, and audit support. We seek an experienced candidate - analytical, reliable, and comfortable working in a regulated financial environment.

POSITION INFO:
The candidate must have a completed BCom Honours and minimum 4-5 years relevant working experience in Fin Ops within the wealth \/ investment management \/ LISP space. Strong academic results in matric and university are essential. Key duties will include: Authorised releaser of local and international payments Review bank reconciliations and assist in resolving reconciling items Review manco unit reconciliations and assist in resolving differences identified Escalate potential issues to team lead Responsible to complete AML reviews received from fund managers\/manco Tax reporting - review PAYE reconciliations as well as ensuring successful submission of tax files to SARS Deal with and resolve ad hoc daily operational queries Dealing with and building good relationships with external suppliers Contribute to the audit process and resolve any audit queries within deadlines Continuously develop own expertise in terms of professional, industry and legislation knowledge.
