POSITION INFO:

A leading beverage company with operations in Africa is looking for a Financial Planner and Analyst to join their team. The organization has a diverse pan-African footprint with more than 30 plants and over 600 000 outlets.

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The Financial Planner and Analyst will be responsible for financial forecasting, annual budgeting processes, operating plan variance analysis and special projects. The Financial Planner and Analyst will be responsible for developing financial models and analysis to support strategic initiatives and developing, tracking, and analyzing key operational metric as well as providing monthly financial reporting and developing monthly comprehensive forecasts.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

• CA(SA)/Completed CIMA
• Completed SAICA articles is preferred

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

• Experience in the FMCG industry would be advantageous
• Ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Passion for financial analysis
• Sound technical accounting skills
• Experience dealing with the asset register
• Experience dealing with fixed assets
