A leading manufacturer of swimming pool and spa products is looking for a Financial Planner and Analyst to join their finance team. The role reports to the CFO.

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The Financial Planning and Analyst will be responsible for providing financial planning and analysis assistance to the CFO. The FP&A Analyst will be responsible for providing financial reporting and analysis support to the Finance Department, Operations and the rest of the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing the annual sales budget, monthly forecasts, month-end packs, business review packs and board packs. The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation of PowerBI, variance analysis, preparing the management reports and assisting with internal and external audits.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

BCom Accounting/BCom Cost Accounting
Studying towards CIMA

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

At least 3-4 years’ experience in a similar role
Experience in a manufacturing industry is preferred
Experience with the full accounting function is preferred
Working knowledge of PowerBI, Hyperion and Advanced Excel skills
Ability to cope with diversity of tasks in a high-pressure environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
Willingness to learn
Must understand the importance of customer relations
