SUMMARY:

Our client, a company specialising in the insurance industry is seeking young apprentice brokers to join their energetic team as Financial Relationship Builders based in Pretoria, Johannesburg and Cape Town.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric.
• Strong telephone etiquette.
• Proficient in English.
• Beneficial: Afrikaans.
• Under 25 years: No industry experience required.
• Over 25 years: Specific industry experience required in the financial sector for more than 2 years, and a RE 5 Certificate is needed.
• Beneficial: Any relevant completed BCom degree.
• Beneficial: Valid driver’s license.
• Beneficial: own reliable vehicle.

Technical Requirements:

• MS Office literacy (MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook essential).

Main Responsibilities:

The following duties included, however is not exclusive:

• Attending training workshops and participating in learning opportunities.
• Assist Brokers and other relevant departments to learn aspects of the company.
• Learn and comply to company procedures.
• Completing training tests, and other required evaluations.
• Work within office, and travel to other sites when required.
• Attend meetings and offer suggestions for improvement.
• Log all training for future use.
• Build professional relationships with colleagues and clients and maintain these relationships to build your own business in the company.
• Sell company products and earn commission.

• Intensive training before exposure to clients (2months).
• All infrastructure will be provided (laptop, software, cell phone etc.).
