POSITION INFO:
A leading supplier of industrial products and services is seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Manager to join their dynamic finance team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a CA(SA) with at least 8 years of experience in financial reporting, consolidation, and managing multi-currency and group reporting processes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in handling financials for organizations with a turnover of over R 1 billion.

Duties:

• Lead and manage the group financial reporting process, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of consolidated financial statements.
• Oversee multi-currency consolidations and ensure proper treatment of foreign exchange (forex) transactions and adjustments.
• Coordinate and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the group.
• Manage the consolidation process for the group’s various subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Provide accurate and insightful financial analysis to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and variances.
• Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations, including IFRS.
• Collaborate closely with other finance teams across the business to streamline reporting processes and drive efficiencies.
• Manage the year-end audit process and work closely with external auditors.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to junior members of the financial reporting team.

• CA(SA) qualification.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial reporting, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
• Strong experience in group reporting, consolidations, and multi-currency financial management.
• Expertise in handling forex and complex group structures, especially within high-turnover organizations (R 1 billion+).
