POSITION INFO:
ð¹ Key Responsibilities

Prepare monthly management accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Handle SARS submissions, including VAT, PAYE, EMP201/501, and related statutory requirements.
Perform general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and month-end processes.
Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
Assist with budgeting, forecasts, and cash flow monitoring.
Reconcile supplier accounts, bank accounts, and project costings.
Process journals, accruals, and adjustments accurately.
Support audit preparation and liaise with auditors when required.
Ensure proper document control and adherence to internal financial procedures.
Collaborate with operational and project teams to resolve financial queries.
Maintain accurate and organized financial records for easy retrieval.

ð¹ Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance,
3–5 years’ experience in an accounting role, preferably within construction or a project-based environment.
Strong knowledge of SARS submissions (VAT, PAYE, EMP returns), reconciliations, payroll, and management reporting.
Proficiency in Pastel and Sage accounting systems (essential).
Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.
Strong Excel skills with the ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
High attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proactive, organized, and able to work independently within deadlines.
