SUMMARY:
A well-established fertiliser company is seeking a hands-on Creditors Controller to be responsible for the full creditors function of the business and to support the Financial Manager with general financial administration.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements for the role:

Must have a B.Com. Degree or similar financial qualification
At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role would be ideal
A good understanding of VAT and VAT payments is essential
Must be proficient in MS Excel and MS Word
Basic Bookkeeping understanding will be required

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Processing payments and relevant transactions.
Performing bank reconciliations.
Checking and verifying transactions recorded by other staff.
Checking supporting documentation of payments.
Compiling documents for foreign payments.
Filing of creditors transactions.
Providing administrative support to the Financial Manager.

Salary package is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
