SUMMARY:
Are you a skilled financial professional ready to take your career to the next level? My client is looking for a detail-oriented Financial Manager with a passion for precision and a track record of success in dynamic finance environments.

POSITION INFO:
As a Financial Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

Prepare monthly accounts up to management account level
Process standard monthly journals and employee expenses
Maintain and manage the fixed asset register, including depreciation calculations
Validate, reconcile, and input finance agreements and rentals into the general ledger
Calculate and process accruals and prepayments
Perform VAT control, reconciliation, and reasonability checks
Investigate variances in the income statement and resolve discrepancies
Reconcile all balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis
Prepare lead schedules for year-end financial reporting
Ensure accurate, full function reconciliations of all cost and revenue items
Oversee documentation and compliance for foreign payments
Support various ad hoc financial projects and deliverables
Handle year-end audit and management processes
Perform tax calculations and support payroll-related tasks

What Do You Need?:

Completed Matric (Grade 12)
Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance
CIMA qualification preferred or studying towards completion
Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience
Strong knowledge of Sage or Pastel Evolution
Experience in foreign currency transactions
