Looking for a skilled Fitter with CNC experience for a permanent position in Benoni, paying R200 per hour. Key responsibilities include fitting components, operating CNC machines, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring quality standards.

POSITION INFO:

Job Vacancy: Fitter / CNC

Type: Permanent
Location: JHB - Eastern Suburbs
Salary: R200 per hour

Job Purpose:

The successful candidate will be responsible for fitting and assembling components, with a strong focus on working alongside CNC machinery and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out fitting and assembly of mechanical components
Operate and work closely with CNC machines
Interpret technical drawings and CNC programmes
Assist with the set-up and adjustment of CNC equipment where required
Ensure components meet required specifications and tolerances
Conduct routine inspections and quality checks
Maintain safety standards and workshop discipline

Minimum Requirements:

Trade-tested Fitter (Red Seal or equivalent)
Solid experience working with CNC machines
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Understanding of machining processes and tolerances
Strong mechanical aptitude
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
