A well-known Mining Group in Brits is looking for a Fixed-Asset Accountant to join their finance team. The right person would be from a mining or engineering company.

• BCom
• Minimum 5 years in a fixed-asset accountant role

Skills:

• SAP

Job description:

• Generate and observe the fixed asset controls and processes
• Keeping track of acquired fixed-assets and dispositions
• Calculate depreciation on fixed assets
• Plan and arrange procedure for the fixed assets depreciation
• Calculate asset departures
• Recommend disposable fixed-assets to management
• Engage with auditors on fixed-asset matters
