JOB SUMMARY:
Fleet Co ordinator

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Fleet Operations Coordinator

Fuel consumption management and compliance
Establishing efficinet routes and transportation schedules
Vehicle and driver tracking and monitoring
Vehicles scheduling, planning and client liaising
Coordinating drivers and on-site general workers
Ensuring compliance with service levels and resolving fleet breakdowns
Managing vehicle license, registration and roadworthiness
Ensuring all fleet members have proper license and up-to-date training
Monitoring drivers to ensure adherence to shedules and proper driver practices
Sourcing, hiring and training new drivers
Driver inductions
Providing budget, schedule, maintenance and fleet progress reports o management
Developing methods to decrease cost and improve efficienty
Incident and claim management and reporting
Ensure necessary disciplinary actions against drivers
Documentation management (POD''s and queries)
Ensure all vehicles meet required company standards and update vehicle inspection sheet
Meet monthly targets set by management
