Fleet Controller

SUMMARY:
Opportunity available! Our well known client in the Logistics/ Transportation industry is looking to employ a Fleet Controller for their Line haul division in Johannesburg.

POSITION INFO:
Job Description: 

1. Management of the assets and staff under your control and the meeting of objectives set in the budget process.
2. Maximum Utilization of Vehicles, planning of loads, routes and fuel.
3. Ensure service Level Agreements are met.
4. Ensure assets and staff comply with all statutory and legal requirements.
5. Accident / Incident investigation and submission of all documentation.
6. Ensuring that all equipment / machinery is serviced within the allowed service intervals and planned COF’s updated.
7. Maintaining of a high level of discipline, within the operations. Ensuring staff under your control maintain high level of service to customers.
8. Preparation and submission of leave schedules in such a manner as to not effect customer requirements.
9. Administrative duties and Document control.
10. Solving of queries and problem solving
11. Management of Drive-Cam as well as Tracking reports.

Job Requirements: 

Grade 12
National Diploma in Transportation Management - Advantage
4+ years Fleet Controller experience


Knowledge:
a. Knowledge of the transport industry.
