Fleet Monitor

SUMMARY:
Our Client is currently seeking a candidate who has Security Industry experience to Manage their Fleet. The position is for a 3 month period with the possibility of becoming permanent should the candidate meet the Clients requirements.

CTC: R 6,00 PER MONTH

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Matric / Grade 12
• Computer Literacy – MS Office (Work, Excel, Outlook, Visio)
• Minimum three years supervisory experience in Dispatch environment
• Knowledge of Microsoft AX Dynamics will be an advantage
• Knowledge of Tracking systems
• Experience in the Security Industry
• Self-motivated and able to motivate others
• Ability to make decisions and execute under pressure
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Drive to execute
• Customer Service orientated.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Fill delivery vehicles with diesel and capture liters filled and latest odometer readings.
• Copy and transfer 1st trip and 2nd trip route sheets from e-mails received from dispatch to Spread sheet.
• Regular updating of vehicle labels on tracking programs.
• “Continuous” monitoring of vehicle movements on Pulsit and M Track vehicle tracking Websites
• Ensure bar code sheets received from dispatch tie up with route sheets received
• Record and log all received pods on route sheet and on spread sheets.
• Pod’s and completed/signed off route sheets to be sent to pod department regularly
• Regular telephone calls to drivers and recording details with date and times.
• Update latest kilometers on vehicle service spread sheet
• Update diesel reports.
• Ensure that all vehicles are back at the yard or in their desired locations before leaving the office
• Regular vehicle inspections and ensure vehicles are roadworthy
• Report all incidents and accidents and completing accident reports and ensure vehicles are repaired by insurance
• Assist drivers with directions
• Communicating with tracking companies
• Communicating with vehicle service/parts centers.
• Co-ordinating vehicle services and maintenance
• Liaising with Fleet Supervisor, Drivers and Management
• Ensure fleet is serviced in accordance with manufacturers requirements. 1.20 Ensure tracking units are working and replaced on failure
• Ensure via tracking reports that fleet stays on allocated routes, action any abuse
