Floor Supervisor - Cold Storage

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client operating in the Cold Storage industry and based in Germiston is seeking a Floor Supervisor.

The Floor Supervisor has general responsibility of co-coordinating and supervising the end to end warehouse activities on a day to day basis
Under the direction of the Warehouse Operations Manager, the Floor Supervisor is responsible for supervising the receiving, warehousing, and dispatching of products in a manner consistent with the company service and cost objectives in line with the relevant standard operating procedures
The floor supervisor is the direct operation link into the Rooms Operations Manager and works closely downstream with the Room`s system operator where appropriate

Minimum Requirements

High school certification
1 Year of direct experience in a similar position.
Good understanding of modern warehousing and complete understanding of accurate inventory keeping.
