Matric / Grade 12
-
Post-matric hotel school qualification would be advantageous
-
3 – 5 years experience in a 4-star hotel, resort or similar environment

Computer literate
-
Good understanding of POS systems
-
Previous leadership role

Excellent communication skills

Good numeracy skills

Good wine knowledge

High level of English proficiency

Ability to plan

Plan, forecast and execute food and beverage orders

Managing Of Stock (Beverage & OE)

Process customer complaints patiently

Check food and beverage supplies and place orders when needed

Communicate and build strong relationships with vendors

Adhere to food, health, and safety standards

Plan, hire, train, oversee and manage the members of staff

Oversee and supervise the welcoming of customers

Organize, direct, and evaluate food and beverage service.

Performance management; monitor staff performance and provide feedback.

Purchase and control of inventory.

Monitor revenues and expenses.

Oversee all events (Booking, Planning & Co-Ordinating)
